A Double Salt Formation from Seawater Bittern and Ammonium Sulfate

Seawater bittern, a huge reserve containing numerous mineral materials, is an essential source for producing various industrial salts. In this work, the formation of double salt between magnesia abundant in seawater bittern and ammonium sulfate was studied via SEM EDX analyses. next step, to optimize efficiency separation, effects technological parameters such as concentration reactants their ratio, well reaction time temperature, were investigated. Afterward, design experimental method utilized quantify influence these parameters. Based on validation obtained model according statistical criteria, only ratio have been shown decisive roles yield recovery. The optimal reached value about 95%, demonstrating feasibility applied technique further processes, i.e., production.
